BECOME A SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED OFFICER
IN THE EDUCATION BRANCH
COURSE COMMENCING - JAN 2010

Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission Officers in the Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Jan 2010
Age. 21 to 25 years(candidate to be born between 02 Jan 1985 and 01 Jan 1989 both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualifications
(a) BE/B Tech with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University in any one of the
following:-
(i) Electronics (ii) Electrical (iii) Mechanical (iv) IT/Computer Science
(b) A Master's Degree in minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University in Physics or Mathematics. Those with Master's Degree in Physics should have studied Mathematics.
Physical Standards
(a) Height and Weight: Minimum height Male-157 cms, Female-152 cms with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to
6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
